Our Waste Compactor Solutions

Disposing of waste can be expensive, especially when organisations are charged for both the volume of waste and the number of journeys it takes to transport it - making it essential to compact any waste as much as possible before it is taken away.

A static or portable waste compactor is primarily used to manage general waste. It can also be used as a recycling compactor to make space for more recyclable waste during day-to-day operations.

Bin Compactors

Our bin compactors are an effective way to compress general waste or dry mixed recycling currently stored in various bin types – reducing waste volumes and enabling more cost-effective, efficient, and clean waste management.

Bag Compactors

We can supply electro-hydraulically-powered bag compactors to turn as many as 20 bags into 1 bag (approximately 45kg final product) – with multiple size options to suit diverse environments and waste output.

  • 100 (14 kg (30 lbs))
  • 160 (16 kg (35 lbs))
  • 180 (22 kg (48 lbs))
  • 240 (40 kg (90 lbs))

Our Waste Baler Solutions

A waste baler is ideal for compressing dry mixed recycling such as cardboard and polythene and securing them into bales so that they can be efficiently stored and transported.

Organisations can generate additional revenue from using a recycling baler by selling the subsequent bales to recycling re-processors. A baler is an effective investment as baled materials will take up less space in storage, meaning more can be kept and sent away at a single time – contributing positively to cost savings.

Small Balers

Our smaller models of balers create bales of up to 75kg – making them suitable for businesses with limited space and looking to improve their waste management and environmental impact.

  • 45 Baler (Bales up to 40kg)
  • 65 Baler (Bales up to 65kg)
  • 75 Baler (Bales up to 75kg)
  • 75 Multi-chamber Baler (Bales up to 75kg)

Frequently Asked Questions

Balers are mostly used to manage recyclable materials, binding them for storage or transport using baling twine or wire. Compactors, on the other hand, are used to reduce the volume of general waste and recycling to save on space and reduce costs whilst protecting the environment.

Static waste compactors are ideal for environments with regular, high-volume waste production, while portable versions are generally suited to general waste with a higher moisture content and the portable compactor acts as a sealed unit. Speak to us about your organisation and waste output for recommendations from our waste specialists.

The choice to rent, lease, or buy a waste baler ultimately depends on your organisation’s financial position, as well as current waste generation and prospective waste generation. Contact us for your free consultation and advice specific to your circumstances.
